../../gdb/nat/linux-namespaces.c: In function ‘void mnsh_main(int)’:
../../gdb/nat/linux-namespaces.c:604:8: warning: ‘fd’ may be used uninitialized in this function [-Wmaybe-uninitialized]
close (fd);
~~~~~~^~~~
And the warning is correct -- mnsh_recv_message can return -1 and leave fd
uninitialized, and mnsh_main will still call close (fd) if that happens.
Initialize fd to -1 to avoid that.
gdb/ChangeLog:
2019-08-27 Christian Biesinger <cbiesinger@google.com>
* nat/linux-namespaces.c (mnsh_main): Initialize fd (to -1).
This removes the last cleanup from linux-namespaces.c, replacing it
with a use of SCOPE_EXIT.
2019-03-06 Tom Tromey <tom@tromey.com>
* nat/linux-namespaces.c (linux_mntns_access_fs): Use SCOPE_EXIT.
* common/filestuff.h (make_cleanup_close): Don't declare.
* common/filestuff.c (do_close_cleanup, make_cleanup_close):
Remove.
This commit applies all changes made after running the gdb/copyright.py
script.
Note that one file was flagged by the script, due to an invalid
copyright header
(gdb/unittests/basic_string_view/element_access/char/empty.cc).
As the file was copied from GCC's libstdc++-v3 testsuite, this commit
leaves this file untouched for the time being; a patch to fix the header
was sent to gcc-patches first.
gdb/ChangeLog:
Update copyright year range in all GDB files.
This applies the second part of GDB's End of Year Procedure, which
updates the copyright year range in all of GDB's files.
gdb/ChangeLog:
Update copyright year range in all GDB files.
This commit fixes nat/linux-namespaces.c to build correctly on
targets without fork.
(linux_mntns_get_helper): Use the above.
gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog:
* configure.ac (AC_FUNC_FORK): New check.
* config.in: Regenerate.
* configure: Likewise.
This commit fixes a stale cleanup left by linux_mntns_access_fs.
gdb/ChangeLog:
* nat/linux-namespaces.c (linux_mntns_access_fs):
Do not overwrite old_chain.
* nat/linux-namespaces.c (setns): Rename from this ...
(do_setns): ... to this. Support calling setns if it exists.
(mnsh_handle_setns): Call do_setns.
This commit changes the debug printing code in linux-namespaces.c
to use pulongest instead of "%ld".
gdb/ChangeLog:
* nat/linux-namespaces.c (mnsh_send_message): Use pulongest.
(mnsh_recv_message): Likewise.
This commit fixes the following ARI warning:
gdb/nat/linux-namespaces.c:28: regression: Do not include
wait.h or sys/wait.h, instead include gdb_wait.h
gdb/ChangeLog:
* nat/linux-namespaces.c (gdb_wait.h): New include.
(sys/wait.h): Do not include.
